Sachin felicitates Olympians Sindhu, Sakshi and Dipa

Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar felicitated Rio Olympics silver medallist PV Sindhu and bronze winner Sakshi Malik along with gymnast Dipa Karmakar and badminton coach Pullela Gopichand at a function on Sunday.

Tendulkar, who was also the goodwill ambassador of the Indian team at Rio Olympics, felicitated the trio at the Gopichand Badminton Academy.

Under the guidance of chief coach Gopichand, Sindhu had clinched the silver medal in womens singles, while wrestler Sakshi had bagged the bronze in womens freestyle 58 kilograms. Dipa missed a medal by a whisker, finishing fourth in artistic gymnastics.
