Rio 2016: No water served to India's thirsty women marathoners

While India comes to terms with its worst Olympic campaign in nearly two decades, here's just one of the reasons that may explain our poor performance. 

It was revealed by cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle that India's women marathon runners, OP Jaisha and Tungar Kavita, were not given water during their competition. The Indian desk was unmanned through the event. While Jaisha finished 89th with a timing of 2:47:19, Kavita finished 120th in 2:59:29.
