Senior BJP leader Dr Subramanian Swamy was the main attraction in the Central Hall of Parliament today and was being  congratulated by MPs across parties after he took oath in the Rajya Sabha today.

Dr Swamy who is extremely active despite being 76 years old crisscrossed the Central Hall benches accepting greetings.

His quipped today that in the AugustaWestland helicopter deal, the law would catch up with 'ma-beta' and the duo would land in jail soon.  He also said that he has given notice in the Rajya Sabha for discussion on the chopper deal on Wednesday.

Congress MPs are likely to object since a nominated MP cannot give notices of public importance. But BJP has an answer to that -- Mani Shankar Aiyer -- also a nominated RS member used to create a ruckus on each and every occasion. Aiyar was made union minister after being nominated by the President and Dr Swamy may also fall in that category, quipped few BJP MPs.
