Midnight knock at minister's home leaves MPs guessing

MPs in the Central Hall of Parliament were whispering about two people who made a midnight visit to a Union Minister in New Delhi yesterday. The two, MPs said, drove up in a white car -- one seated in the front, one at the back. The person in the front seat was a sitting Rajya Sabha MP and the one at the back seat was a former UPA minister. As MPs speculated on the purpose of the visit, the AugustaWestland Helicopter deal came up. Some MPs said it was more prosaic -- an invite to the wedding reception of a former Union Minister being held in June in Mumbai.  But why the midnight knock, we wonder?
