Mercedes hit-and-run case: Juvenile driver granted bail on a bond of Rs 5,000.

The teenager involved in the Mercedes hit-and-run case had been denied bail by the Juvenile Justice Board for the third time on Saturday.

On April 4, Siddharth Sharma was killed as he was hit by a speeding Mercedes that was being driven by the then 17-year-old.

According to sources present during the proceedings, the JJB was at first inclined to grant the juvenile bail keeping his best interests in mind.
