Jailed Trinamool leader Madan Mitra hospitalised

Trinamool Congress leader and Saradha chit fund scam accused Madan Mitra has been admitted to hospital due to chest pain and difficulty in breathing.
Mitra is in jail for more than a year as a prime accused in the case and is fighting the ongoing elections from behind the bars.
On Sunday, a day before the fourth phase of the polls, Mitra fell ill. He was, however, not taken to hospital that day.
The Opposition alleged that Mitra is trying to be shifted to hospital in order to 'control the polls', and requested the Election Commission that Mitra should not be allowed access to phone or Internet in case he is shifted to a hospital.
