Sri Lanka's Rangana Herath retires from ODIs, T20Is

Sri Lanka left-arm spinner Rangana Herath has announced his retirement from limited-overs cricket in order to focus on the remainder of his Test career. 

Herath informed Sri Lanka Cricket of his decision to step away from the shorter formats in the past week, and the board has since accepted his decision.

Herath, the slow left-armer took 74 wickets in 71 one-day internationals and 18 in 17 Twenty20s, including a format-best five for three against New Zealand en route to helping Sri Lanka lift the World Twenty20 title two years ago.
