PM sweats it out for Maritime Summit

PM Narendra Modi's suggestions to the organisers of international events, summits or seminars are always unique. Moreover, the PM ensures that his suggestions are reviewed, rehearsed and acted upon.

For instance, when India hosts the first-ever Global Maritime Summit in Mumbai on April 14, the PM wants the organisers to  have a counter for brochures and at least 30 tablets.

This is to enable foreign investors to tap on to the tablet and scour any sector for investments. There are officials to act as guides at this stall which is called 'E-corner for Maritime Summit.

Senior officials of the Shipping Ministry are on their toes ensuring everything works since the Prime Minister will visit this e-literature corner on the inauguration day.
