Apple CEO, the late Steve Jobs found mention in Congress VP Rahul Gandhi's speech in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The allusion was Jobs' resurrection of Apple's fortunes.

Rahul was addressing party workers in Mathura and told them to learn from Jobs as they go about rebuilding the Congress in Uttar Pradesh, which votes in two years for its next government.

The Congress Vice President acknowledged that his party has been sidelined to the fringes of India's most populous state, but said, "Our ideology will make us win and turn us into No 1."

He also told Congressmen to "attack Prime Minister Modi... but remember, he is best at attacking himself".
