Just in: Moments after Ahmed Javed took over as Mumbai police commissioner, the first thing he did was to disband the entire police team investigating and supervising the Sheena Bora murder probe, including  officer, Dinesh Kadam, who was spearheading the probe. Four cops at the Khar Police station, including Kadam, where the case has been filed, have been shunted out.

Rakesh Maria, the erstwhile police commissioner who headed the investigations in the high profile case was moved out as DG Home Guards. While Maria's promotion was expected at the end of the month and the home secretary said it was routine transfer, it is not the case with the other IOs in the case.
