After the organiser of his book launch event was attacked and ink was flung in his face, former Pakistan minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri said that he would not cow down and would attend the programme held to launch his book Neither a Hawk nor a Dove: An Insider's Account of Pakistan's Foreign Policy. "Have not come so far to sit in a hotel," said Kasuri when asked if he would attend the event in light of the ink attack on Sudheendra Kulkarni, the organiser of the event.
