PM Narendra Modi speaks at 'Mission Innovation' at COP21

Speaking at the 'Mission Innovation' at COP21, Prime Minister Modi said, "Innovation must be backed by means to make it accessible to all."

"Access to renewable energy and a better life is a universal aspiration, so are a clean environment and a clean habitat," the prime minister stated.

"A vast section of humanity lives at the edge of poverty, they need energy to light up their homes," he said.

Speaking about climate justice, the prime minister said, "Have to ensure in spirit of climate justice that life of few doesn't cloud opportunities for those on initial steps of development ladder."

"Advanced countries must leave enough room for developing countries to grow," he said.

"We will restore the balance between ecology and economy, and between our inheritance and obligation to the future," he added.
