India, Singapore sign agreement to strengthen online security, 5 MoUs

On Day 2 of PM Narendra Modi's visit, India and Singapore have signed five MoUs. These include a joint declaration on strategic partnership, an agreement on defence cooperation, an agreement on sharing white shipping information, and agreements on cooperation in the fields of arts, heritage archives and library. Here's the full list of MoUs.


The five MoUs are in the fields of: civil aviation, planning, capacity building, urban planning and governance, cyber security and cooperation to combat illicit trafficking in narcotics drugs.


Yesterday, the PM delivered a 20-minute '37th Singapore Lecture - India's Singapore Story' - soon after his arrival. The Indian Prime Minister reached Singapore after his trip to Malaysia in the second and final leg of his four-day visit to southeast Asia.
