The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) yesterday has taken former media baron Peter Mukerjea to Delhi for further questioning and a possible lie detection test to unearth the truth behind the conspiracy to kill Sheena Bora.

NDTV reports that agency officials said it was felt best to question him in Delhi with the supervision of senior officers including the joint director, special director and CBI director.

The CBI is now probing a financial dispute as the most likely reason for the murder, in which Peter, mastermind Indrani Mukherjea, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyamvar Rai took active part.

A magistrate on Monday extended CBI custody of Peter till November 26 on CBI's plea seeking additional remand. Sources said Peter may undergo a lie detection test in the presence of forensic experts at the Central Forensic Science Laboratory.
