Police lay siege to Paris suburb where attacks mastermind is holed up

AFP reports that police have raided suspected Paris attacks mastermind Abdelhamid Abaaoud (pictured).
Reports say that three suspects have been held, while three people have been killed. Gunshots rang out around the northern Paris suburb of Saint Denis as police launched the pre-dawn operation to hunt down the remaining gunmen.
Roads were closed and helicopters buzzed overhead as two or three gunmen were believed to have barricaded themselves into a flat.
As gunfire died down, police sources said three people had been arrested and two officers wounded - but warned residents to stay inside as the operation was not over.
