Ola deploys boats in flood-hit Chennai

In a display of startup resourcefulness, India's leading cab-hailing app startup and Uber rival, Ola, launched a ferry rescue service in the rain-hit and water-logged coastal city of Chennai in southern India where neighborhoods have been partially submerged after multiple days of heavy rains. 

Both Uber and Ola had come under public fire in Chennai after their cabs disappeared from the streets.
