Senior Delhi police officer kills self, wife jumps from fourth floor

An assistant commissioner of police posted with Delhi Police's Special Cell committed suicide by allegedly shooting himself in his apartment at Noida area of the National Capital Region. Senior officials of the Uttar Pradesh Police confirmed the incident and added that the wife of the ACP had also jumped from the fourth floor of the same building and is currently in a critical condition. Police also said that 18-month-old daughter of the couple was also at the apartment when the incident took place and has been rescued from the flat.
