Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah addresses rally on first anniversary of the Modi government in New Delhi.

"After independence, a non-Congress alliance got full majority for the first time in the Lok Sabha polls: Amit It is a matter of pride that the people chose BJP," he says. "The Lok Sabha polls last year established records in the democratic history of India."

"The prime minister's credibility has been restored and that is the public's biggest achievement."  

"Under Modiji's leadership, we had promised that we will root out corruption. We have been able to do that. The Modi government is highly visible, proactive," says Shah.
