AAP moves resolution in Delhi Assembly to impeach L-G

At the special session of the Delhi Assemby AAP MLA Adarsh Shastri has moved a resolution seeking to amend section 155 of the constitution so that the state government can impeach the Lieutenant Governor. Shastri said that he's hoping the Assembly will pass the resolution and it will force Parliament to consider the issue.

It must've been a rather awkward meeting between Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lt Governor Najeeb Jung today. The two met ahead of the special Assembly session. Present at the meeting were Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Chief Secretary KK Sharma.

The AAP government convened a two-day emergency session of the Legislative Assembly beginning Tuesday amid a bitter fight between Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor Najeeb Jung.
