2 arrested over air balloons flying over Mumbai airport

The Mumbai police have arrested two persons from an event organising company over the case of objects flying near the Mumbai airport runway, which were identified as promotional balloons.

Five parachutes were spotted near the Mumbai airstrip causing a security concern and leading to a multi-agency probe.

According to the police, Dharmanand diamond export company had organised a cricket tournament in Kalina on Saturday close to the Mumbai airport. The organisers had suspended five air balloons in the air for advertising its brand, The Indian Express reports.
