#ModiMurdersDemocracy trends on Twitter after the Central govt notification to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal specifying the role and powers of the Lt Governor.
The central government has clearly told Kejriwal that it is not essential for him to be consulted by the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi on matters like the appointment of key bureaucrats.
Kejriwal has alleged that the Centre is trying to rule Delhi through the Lieutenant Governor, and said his "interference" in Delhi is unconstitutional.
Following the gazette notification today, there was outrage on Twitter, which lamented the end of democracy in Delhi and the beginning of autocracy. Here's a look at some of the tweets.
