Underworld don Dawood NOT on Pakistan watchlist

Information provided by India on the location of fugitive don Dawood Ibrahim as well as details of passports being used by him does not exist in the immigration records of Pakistan, Islamabad's Interpol division have told their counterparts in New Delhi, indicating that the neighbouring country has not put Dawood and his family members on a watchlist, which would have resulted in them being detained at ports and airports.

The information from the Islamabad division of Interpol also strengthens New Delhi's stand that the underworld figure, wanted in connection with the 1993 Mumbai blasts, is still being protected by the government of Pakistan.
