ONLY Karnataka govt can challenge the verdict in the SC. Dr Swamy has said that he will appeal the case. He can appeal to the court to allow him to appeal. The complainant has no locus to file, but he can approach the High Court bench and plead that he be allowed to appeal. The DMK can also appeal the case on the same grounds.

For now, all charges against Jayalalithaa stand cancelled.
