Thousands throng the half-kilometer stretch leading to Jaya's bungalow in Chennai's post Poes Garden localilty, Jayalalithaa met the Tamil Nadu chief minister and other cabinet ministers at her house for a celebratory party minutes after the verdict.

The AIADMK is likely to go in for a snap poll in November, at least six months before the schedule. However, there is no formal confirmation of the same.

Jayalalithaa will address the media after 2 pm.
