Delhi cop, who attacked woman with brick, dismissed

The Delhi Police head constable who attacked a woman with a brick has been dismissed from service, says Special CP (Traffic) Muktesh Chander.

The incident took place in Delhi's posh Golf Links where a policeman hit a woman with a brick.

Sketchy reports say the woman was travelling with her daughters when the incident occurred. The victim claims the cop asked her for a bribe which she refused after which an altercation took place and he attacked her.

The woman said the policeman attacked her with a stone. "My hand and back are hurt. My kids were with me, I didn't give him (traffic cop) money that is why he thrashed me," the victim said.
