An argument with a traffic cop at Delhi's posh Golf Links took an ugly turn when a policeman hit a woman with a brick. Sketchy reports say the woman was travelling with her daughters when the incident occurred.  The victim claims the cop asked her for a bribe which she refused after which an altercation took place and he attacked her.

The woman said the policeman attacked her with a stone. "My hand and back are hurt. My kids were with me, I didn't give him (traffic cop) money that is why he thrashed me," the victim said.

Delhi CP, BS Bassi, said the cop has been arrested. "The head constable has been arrested. I have ordered the inquiry and a criminal case has been registered."
