Nothing wrong in applying for peon's job: MLA whose son is up for peons job

Bharatiya Janata Party legislator Heera Lal Verma, whose son is in line to get a peon's job at the Rajasthan State Agriculture Marketing Board, said he saw nothing wrong in it. "I have three sons, all are unemployed. He is Std VIII passed so he applied; whether he clears it or not depends on different aspects."

A two-time MLA from Tonk district, Verma, who was a state government officer before joining politics, said his son being "less educated" was eligible for this kind of job only and he did not want him to enter politics nor do any other "work which is beyond his capabilities or eligibility".
