Land bill aimed to reduce your troubles: Modi on Mann ki Baat

In his radio address, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached out to farmers and addressed their troubles. PM Modi speaking about the troubles farmers are facing owing to unseasonal rain, said, "I'm standing with you at this sad hour. I assure you the government will provide assistance with complete sensitivity at this hour of the need."

Taking a potshot at the Congress, Modi said, "Political leaders who are today posing as your well wishers, protesting against this bill have also governed under this law. We felt that there was a need to bring some amendments in the law, we only wish for welfare of people and villages."
