Just in: Dehradun-Varanasi Janta Express derails near Bachhrawan in Uttar Pradesh's Rae Bareli District.

At least six people are believed to have been killed and 24 injured in the incident.

According to the report, three coaches of the train derailed in Bachhrawan after locomotive brakes of the train failed.

Officials have been informed and are reaching the spot. The UP government will do whatever is required, says, Manoj Pandey, cabinet minister UP.

Rae Bareli is Sonia Gandhi's constituency.
