Former PM Manmohan Singh will move the Supreme Court to quash the CBI special court summons in the coal allocation case. Former union minister Kapil Sibal and Supreme Court lawyer KTS Tulsi will appear in court on his behalf.

Dr Singh has been made an accused in the case related to the allotment of coal blocks during his term at the helm of the previous UPA regime.

The Congress party, which met under the leadership of president Sonia Gandhi, has vowed to fight the case politically and legally, and the party's top legal eagles could appear for Singh in the apex court.
