Rahman partners with UN for International day of Happiness

Oscar-winning composer A R Rahman has teamed up with the United Nations to contribute to a global music playlist to commemorate the International Day of Happiness on March 20.

Rahman along with a host of superstars joined hands with the body and music streaming service MixRadio to launch the #HappySoundsLike campaign for the occasion, which will use the power of music to show solidarity with millions suffering from poverty and abuse.

Rahman has collaborated with international artists such as Oscar winner John Legend, British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran and James Blunt, French artist David Guetta and actress Charlize Theron along with UN messengers of peace and goodwill ambassadors to create the world's happiest playlist.
