IMF chief Christine Lagarde calls on PM Modi.

Lagarde who began her India visit today said the country India has an opportunity to emerge as one of the world's most dynamic economies but it needs to implement the planned reforms and open up more fully to the world.

She also praised the steps taken by PM Narendra Modi and RBI governor Raghuram Rajan to steer the economy to a higher growth trajectory and called for binging more women into the workforce to boost growth.
