'PM jawab do' chants break out in Parliament over Alam's release

Within minutes of the Lok Sabha proceedings beginning, chaos ensued with Congress's Mallikarjun Kharge raising the issue of the release of separatist leader Masarat Alam. Speaking on the issue, Kharge said, "If Masarat Alam is released it raises question on democracy, this release needs to be stopped." Kharge further added that PM Modi should provide an answer in the matter. Leaders in the Lok Sabha then started chanting, "Jawab do, jawab do' and not allowing proceedings to continue.
