2 killed in stampede at Godavari Pushkaralu event in Andhra

Just in: Two women have been killed and several injured after a stampede broke out at the Godavari Pushkaralu event which began today in Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh, reports NDTV.

The 12-day Pushkaralu event is similar to the 'Kumbh Mela' which also began today.

Details awaited.
