12 children injured as school bus overturns

At least 12 children were seriously injured while others suffered minor injuries after a school bus carrying them overturned in Kashmiri Gate area of north Delhi today.

The injured children were rushed to hospitals nearby. "The incident happened at around 8 am when the bus was coming from the ISBT flyover. Some pedestrians were crossing the road and the driver in a bid to stop the bus applied brakes. He is believed to have lost control over the vehicle and overturned," said the official.
