The home ministry denied there was any threat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi from right-wing elements in the wake of such reports in a section of media. The sources said the reports are baseless and unfounded and that no new security risk has been added for the PM. There was no report of any threat posed from right-wing elements, they said. It was reported recently that a new security dossier, prepared by Delhi Police ahead of the International Yoga Day event, lists a threat from right-wing fundamentalists because of Modi's attempts to woo the Muslim community.
