Indian Mujahideen founder Yasin Bhatkal, who was lodged in the Hyderabad prison, made a phone call to his wife saying that he would be a free man soon with help from Damascus, reported The Times of India.
This has triggered fears of Bhatkal getting support from Islamic State which is in control of a large part of Syria's capital.
The conversation has sent security officials in a tizzy. The security at the Hyderabad jail has been beefed up and they are looking for alternative places where Bhatkal can be kept impassioned, the report said.
