Gujarat extends Maggi ban for another month

The state of Gujarat has extended its ban on Nestle's Maggi noodles for another month as the company failed to produce safety standard reports. On June 4, the state had banned the 2-minute noodle after samples had failed tests. Of the 39 samples, 29 were detected with objectionable levels of metallic lead, among other things.
