Delhi's shame: 5 rapes, 12 molestations every day

Every day, five women are raped, 12 are molested, two persons are murdered and 26 more are targeted by snatchers in the capital, a crime-mapping by Delhi police's crime branch has revealed.

Rattled by the rising crime graph in certain areas of the capital, Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi recently directed the crime branch to crime-map the most-vulnerable spots, The Indian Express reports.

He then directed all the district heads concerned to deploy adequate number of police personnel in these spots.
