MiG crashes on to biker in Barmer, no casualties

IAF MiG-21 crashes in Barmer district, Rajasthan, but the pilot ejects safely.

The aircraft fell on to a passing motorcycle, injuring the man who was riding it. The man luckily suffered minor burns and a fractured hand, but his bike was completely burnt.

The MIG 21 was on a routine sortie from the Jodhpur air base to Uttarlai. The Air Force has ordered a court of inquiry into the incident.
