Youth who attacked Banerjee thrashed by TMC men

The man who slapped Mamata Banerjee's nephew Abhishek was allegedly caught by Trinamool Congress members and was mercilessly beaten. He has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries, said media reports. The police, probing the case, said that the attacker's identity was still unknown and that they were investigating the incident.

Meanwhile, TMC's Derek O'Brien said that it seemed to be the handiwork of an outsider.
