Angry Tamils protest outside Salman Khan's home

Angry Tamils belonging to political parties met outside Salman Khan's home and protested against the Bollywood actor for campaigning for Sri Lanka President Mahinda Rajapaksa. The protesters raised slogans against the Lankan president and Khan.

Protesters said they would continue protesting outside Khan's home in Bandra, Mumbai till he apologised.

Cops soon came to the spot and took around 10-15 protesters into preventive custody.

Salman Khan had accompanied his Sri Lankan co-star Jacqueline Fernandez to Colombo to campaign for Rajapaksa on the invitation of the latter's son Namal, who is reportedly the actress' friend. His move earned him the ire of political parties in Tamil Nadu, calling him a betrayer.
