Obama denounces North Carolina Muslim deaths as FBI probes

Stating that the murder of three Muslims in North Carolina earlier this week was "brutal and outrageous", the US President Barack Obama today voiced strong concern over religious and racial violence in the county.

"No one in the United States of America should ever be targeted because of who they are, what they look like, or how they worship," Obama said in a statement, in which he and the First Lady, Michelle offered their condolences to the victims' loved ones.
