December 16 gang rape: Juvenile shifted from remand home

The juvenile convict in the December Delhi gang rape has been shifted from the remand home to an undisclosed location. Yesterday, the Delhi high court cleared the decks for his release, saying he cannot be stopped from walking free under the existing provisions of law. The convict, now 20-year-old, has spent the last two-and-a-half years inside a remand home as per the provisions in the Juvenile Justice Act.
