No role in stalling Bajirao Mastani shows in Pune: Bajirao descendants

The descendants of Bajirao Peshwa said on Friday that they have 'no role' in the cancellation of shows of Bajirao Mastani or the protests held against the movie in Pune.

"We had clarified during our press conference in Mumbai that we're not in favour of any ban on the movie. We only requested that historic facts which seems to be distorted should be edited or corrected before releasing the movie," said Mahendra Peshwa, a descendant of Bajirao.
