Amit Shah summons Kirti Azad; advise him against giving statements on DDCA row

BJP chief Amit Shah today summoned party MP Kirti Azad, who has often attacked Arun Jaitley over "corruption" in DDCA when he had headed it, apparently in a bid to dissuade him from raking up his

allegations at a time AAP has used them to target the Finance Minister.

Azad, however, stuck to his decision of holding a press conference on the issue on Sunday.

"It was a good meeting (with Shah). I will hold the press conference on Sunday," he said.

Though there was no official comment on what transpired in the meeting, party sources said Shah advised Azad to exercise restraint, noting that opposition parties have used these charges to attack BJP.
