Indrani told cops Rahul was stalking Sheena

Rahul Mukerjea, who is being questioned by the Mumbai police chief Rakesh Maria at an undisclosed location, has reportedly said that he received a text from Sheena's phone, saying she wanted to break up with him, reports NDTV.

The Mumbai police say Rahul met Sheena hours before she left with Indrani Mukerjea in a car in 2012, never to be seen again.

The 24-year-old was allegedly murdered later that night. Rahul reportedly tried to file a missing complaint with the police after Sheena disappeared. Sources say Indrani Mukerjea had then told the police that Rahul was stalking Sheena and she had left for the US to escape him.
