Model allegedly raped inside police post in Mumbai, 3 cops arrested

Three policemen are among six arrested for allegedly raping a 29-year-old model inside a police chowki (post) in Sakinaka in the western part of Mumbai.

The cops - two assistant police inspectors and a constable - also allegedly extorted Rs. 4.5 lakh from the woman.

The incident came to light after the woman, who had allegedly fled the city fearing harassment, finally complained to Mumbai Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria on Tuesday.
