Submit status report by May 12 on black money probe: SC to SIT

The Supreme Court has asked the special investigation team to submit a status report on the progress it has made on the black money investigation.

"The SC requested the SIT to submit a report by May 12, after that it will pass appropriate orders," said former Attorney General Soli Sorabjee.

Meanwhile Bharatiya Janata Party MP and legal luminary Ram Jethmalani said on the issue, " I don't think that the finance minister is serious about getting black money back to the country."

"I have gone and met the Germans; but they said that no effort has been made to take the money back," he alleged.
