Mehbooba proposes, Jaitley disposes

Mehbooba Mufti on Tuesday made an SOS to Arun Jaitley to seek his intervention in the release of funds for the Jammu and Kashmir government.

A quick solution from Jaitley was to ask the chief secretary and finance secretary of the state government to meet him tomorrow. There will be a solution and funds will be released, was his quick response.

So impressed on Mehbooba that she thanked Jaitley profusely -- in chaste Punjabi !
